This is the view out my front windows in the morning. The interesting thing about this photo is that when I looked out the windows I didn’t see all that stuff in the way until I actually captured the image and looked at it – I just saw the sunrise (it was a little early ;)). I hope I can do that more in life – choosing to focus on the good and ignoring or not paying attention to the things that aren’t so good!
This photo isn’t a photographic masterpiece. At all. But I wasn’t trying to create a masterpiece at the moment – I was just trying to capture a little part of my day. I actually got up early enough to see this, which was really good for that week. 🙂 That’s one good thing about winter – the sun rises so late that you don’t have to get up very early to see it.
This is the only photo I took this past week that wasn’t for a client. I looked back through my files and found that over the last few months I’ve taken so many photos for clients, and I’ve loved it, but somehow haven’t taken very many of my own life (I have piles of CDs and negatives to show that wasn’t always the case!). So, my new goal is to take more photos just for me – good or bad!
Mmmmmm, love me some Alberta sunrise! I definately miss that about Raymond.
Awesome post 🙂
I like the later winter sunrises, too!! Nice picture!
This is a heart warming photo. I grew up in North Florida and now live in NYC. I don’t get sunrises like this anymore 🙂
