I have had the opportunity to work with the Nicole and Dale Joyal from Blissful Life Wellness more than once now, and it has been such an awesome experience to be a small part of their growing business. I love the kindness and passion of my clients as a Lethbridge wellness photographer.

The Joyals traveled down from Red Deer both times, with all of their equipment! They needed images for their website and for posting graphics promoting classes and workshops. Nicole has a unique setup in the amount and variety of instruments she uses in her sound therapy. We wanted to show that, so we planned photos in a studio space, and then in a real class. After taking photos, I got to participate in the sound therapy class. It was incredibly relaxing, and I would definitely do it again! Nicole and Dale also needed photos of themselves for their about me section, so we shot a few different headshots for them to choose from. Dale offers coaching and breathwork, and Nicole offers Thai massage and breathwork along with her sound therapy. Together, they also offer laugh yoga. We captured images of all of these modalities so their website would be clear in explaining their services, and beautiful to look at.

To plan the shoot, especially with the Joyals travelling for it, we did a Zoom planning call which is always part of the brand photography process. I always want to make sure your shoot is efficient and maximizes your investment. We evaluated their website and other places where images were needed, then planned a shot-list accordingly. Every session is customized to each individual client, because every business is unique and their needs are, too. Once we had the shotlist, we met up on the day of the shoot and followed it! This is how you get images that work for you – planning ahead!
