Ben and Lachelle were married at the beautiful Val Halla, an estate just outside of Taber (Sidetone: I wasn’t married there but I had my own wedding photos taken there!) It’s a beautiful venue for a summer wedding.

After the ceremony, we were able to take the family photos in a bit of shade to keep everyone a little cooler, and then I had the poor bridal party stand right out in the sun – I love having sun in photos!  They went to cool off once we were done, and then I spent some time with just Ben and Lachelle – one of my favourite parts of the day. The landscaping at Val Halla is beautiful, and you really get to see it all during a summer wedding, as everything is green and blooming.

I absolutely loved Lachelle’s dress – it was lace, so classy, and she was gorgeous! It was a very hot day, but you can’t tell looking at these two. Their bridal party looked flawless too, and they were so cooperative, especially the two flower girls. It really was sweltering outside, but they didn’t complain at all.

The Taber Community Centre was the venue for the reception and some of my favourite caterers were there – details below! I love getting to see other vendors I know at weddings. The hall was beautiful, the food was delicious, the speeches were funny and heartfelt (especially enjoyed the best men), the MCs did a great job, the kids were all cute (another favourite part of mine) and everyone was having fun dancing when I left. Just an awesome wedding to be a part of. Thank you Ben and Lachelle!
