I was looking back on my year of photos and I realized there are a few I haven’t shared on the blog, including these ones! It was so fun to do this shoot with Maria, Sadie and McKell. It was also absolutely freezing and they were such good sports! It was the last day of March so we were hoping for nice spring temperatures, but we could only shoot a few frames at a time before they wold have to run back into the building and warm up! Southern Alberta at its finest. 😉 We shot these in downtown Lethbridge to get photos for Maria’s website – she is the creator and owner of Glue-Free Falsies! They are magnetic false eyelashes – Maria came up with her very own patent-pending design. She is a mother of 5 children, an avid runner, former paediatric nurse, home decorator, everything decorator, doctor-wife (her husband works around 80 hours a week sometimes), and of course runs this business – she’s amazing!

 

Maria and Kara, the owner of Splurge & Co, actually went to high school together. Kara will be one of the speakers at the upcoming “Connect & Collaborate” event put on by The Collaboration Team (started by another girl who went to the same high school as Maria and Kara and I – there must be something about that school! ;)) – if you’re a female entrepreneur or influencer go check it out! The event is January 29 but get your tickets soon! 🙂 I can’t wait to hear all about how she built her business and connect with other female entrepreneurs! Also, I hear the dessert will be good. 😉
