Simmer & Co | Small business product photos
I love getting to shoot for Simmer & Co every time. There’s something special about walking into Danielle’s shop. The air is filled with the scents of dried fruits and botanicals and it’s amazing. Every product she creates—whether it’s a simmer mix for the stovetop, a refreshing home mist, or a beautifully crafted wax melt—is designed to bring natural fragrance into the home. Shooting small business product photos for this Lethbridge based business is always so rewarding. Danielle has tons of props already on hand, thanks to the ingredients in her products, and it’s so fun to use those to create product photos for her.
What we captured
Along with individual product shots, we also photographed Danielle’s shop, capturing the heart of Simmer & Co. Giant glass jars filled with carefully dried fruits and botanicals line her shelves, adding warmth and character to the space. Her beautifully packaged products sit neatly together, showcasing her full collection. Every item is handmade, and reflects her deep appreciation for nature’s power to transform a space—without harsh chemicals or irritating sensitive noses.
The details
One of the best parts of this shoot was the little details that make Simmer & Co. products so special. The dried fruits and botanicals give each simmer mix a natural, homemade feel. The wax melts look warm and inviting. The mist bottles have a simple, clean design. We used soft lighting and Danielle’s signature styling to show not just the products but the cozy feeling they create. When people see these small business product photos, I want them to imagine the fresh scents filling their homes!
