Having a Gmail address, or a Hotmail address is one thing that can make your business look unprofessional. Even if I know the business is very professional, for some reason it stands out to me! If you already have a website and your own domain name, it doesn’t take much to set yourself up with a custom email address too!
When I was first starting to take this photography business seriously, one of the first things I did was get my own domain name, and I wanted that custom email to match. Through Google and the help section on Bluehost I finally figured it out!
I had someone reach out to me and ask me how I set up my email address so that they could do it, too. I decided to make a quick little video. Below you will find what I did step-by-step so that you can follow along and do it yourself!
I use Bluehost to host my domain name, kinseyholt.com, so that’s what I’m using to show you today!

You now have your new custom email address all set up to RECEIVE emails and forward them to your Gmail inbox. The final step is to set up your Gmail account so that you can SEND emails from that custom email address! It’s very quick and easy, and I created another little video to walk you through it!
If you set up your new email address, I want to hear about it! Did these steps work for you?
