Kristi and Curtis planned their Waterton wedding from the warmth of Southern Utah, to be close to Curtis’ family. She was so sweet, even over email, and I was very excited to finally meet them when they got here! Kristi did such a good job of planning from so far away. She is so organized and on the ball – if you need a realtor in Southern Utah I will give you her info! 🙂 With the fire, we weren’t sure if we would be able to go ahead with their original plans for awhile, but having a Waterton wedding worked out in the end! The beach ceremony plan had to be changed to an indoor ceremony at the last minute due to rain and high winds, but these two were so happy to be getting married they weren’t phased a bit.

Kristi really wanted to wait until the ceremony for Curtis to see her, but they wanted to exchange notes they had written to each other, so we found a small room with a divider where they could do it without seeing each other! I sound like a terrible person, but I love when people cry (happy tears!) on wedding days – I love capturing such real emotion! I love being able to preserve those moments for people.

The bridal party consisted of Curtis and Kristi’s children – they were so fun and we even got to do family pictures another day that weekend.
