Living a Life
Some photographer friends and I are doing a monthly photo challenge. Our theme for this “Living a Life” series is this quote:
“Instructions for living a life.
Pay attention.

As a mother of two girls, not much is sweeter than when they play together and love each other! These two were playing around being silly and I just sat back and watched through my camera. I have had someone tell me to put down my camera and just enjoy the moment, but for me I often find that with my camera in hand, I actually notice more special moments than without it. I guess it helps me focus more on the present when I am trying to capture it. And I have never regretted any photos I’ve taken of my kids. Even when I’ve taken hundreds in a day! 😉 I love these photos because, to me, they show the relationship between these two perfectly – the facial expressions and the way my oldest is always trying to entertain her baby sister, and the way her baby sister looks at her. So here are my “Living a Life” photos for this month:
ah you know I love the light that is in your living room with those great windows! Super cute girls and Im the same – with my camera it helps me to stop and SEE those moments more and I end up with pictures of my kids. Thats a win win. 😉
So cute! They really seem to enjoy each others company. I love the couch head stands, they are common at our house too!
